Hi Melissa! Love your blog and always look forward to your new entries :) What’s the name of the Izakaya where you caught your own fish? Is it in the Shinjuku Washington Hotel? My boyfiend and I are going to Japan again in April and saw that place in an article somewhere, but I can’t seem to figure out the exact location/name. Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year!

Hi Ty! Thanks for the comments! Yes, I think that’s the izakaya — I don’t remember the name, but it was in Shinjuku and googling it, it looks like that’s it. (I didn’t find the izakaya on my own, I was taken there by other people, sorry I’m not more helpful.) It’s funny too, because when I was in Japan, I saw a tv segment about the place. Hope you guys have a great time in Japan!
